The Memphis Grizzlies did not hold back at all to begin the game. Jaren Jackson Jr., started the game off with seven of the Grizzlies first 11 points. Memphis’ complete floor game had the Sixers scrambling for anything.
The Grizzlies defense held the Sixers to 26 percent from the field in the first quarter, while Memphis shot 52.6 from the field. Memphis put up 26 points in the fist 10 minutes and held the Sixers to 15 points.
Seriously, the defense was something else:
Second Quarter:
Memphis’ field goal percentage fell from 52 percent to around 40 percent from the field in the first five minutes of the second quarter.
