It’s no secret that the Memphis Grizzlies haven’t done a good job selecting players in the NBA draft. Things have started to get a bit better with some of their selections the last two years.
They drafted Dillon Brooks 45th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft after trading with Houston to acquire the pick.
He had a really good rookie season and was starting to play really well this season before his injury. Anytime you can at least get a solid role player in the second round that is a success.
It takes superstars to make a team special though.
