The Grizzlies lost the front end of a back-to-back to the Dallas Mavericks, 104-100, Friday at American Airlines Center. The regular season series is now tied at 1-1 with both meetings coming in Dallas.
The game featured eight ties and 16 lead changes, but after Memphis scored the opening bucket of the second half, Dallas went on a 12-2 run to take the lead for good.
Zach Randolph recorded his 16th double-double (24 points, 10 rebounds) off the bench this season, marking an NBA-best. It was also his fourth 20-10 game of the season.
