The Memphis Grizzlies, without five players including captain Marc Gasol (rest), fell 103-86 on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers, losing their first game in the month of December.
Both teams struggled to control the ball throughout the game, with the Grizzlies turning the ball over 16 times and the Cavaliers 19. However, the Grizzlies scored 23 points off turnovers while Cleveland only posted nine points off of Memphis’ turnovers.
Zach Randolph led Memphis with 18 points and five rebounds in his first start of the season. Troy Williams also scored in double figures, chipping in 13 points and six rebounds in 36 minutes.
