The Memphis Grizzlies today announced that the team has signed guard Bryce Cotton to a 10-day contract pursuant to the NBA’s hardship roster rules.
Over two professional seasons, Cotton (6-1, 165) has appeared in 18 games (zero starts) for the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns and averaged 4.7 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 10.7 minutes. He also has played 40 games (all starts) for the NBA Development League’s Austin Spurs and recorded 22.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 39.2 minutes.
The 23-year-old began the season in Austin before he was signed by Phoenix as a D-League Call-Up on Nov.
