The Memphis Grizzlies re-assigned forward Jarell Martin to the team’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Iowa Energy, Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace announced today.
Martin (6-10, 239) has appeared in three games for the Grizzlies during his rookie season and totaled two points in 12 minutes. The 21-year-old was drafted by Memphis in the first round (25th overall) of the 2015 NBA Draft following his sophomore season at the Louisiana State University. This marks his sixth assignment to Iowa, where he has averaged 13.6 points and 6.3 rebounds in 30.6 minutes in seven games (six starts).
