Grizzlies rally in OT to defeat Pelicans

The Memphis Grizzlies improved to 3-2 as they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 89-83 in their second overtime game this season at FedExForum on Wednesday night.

Tied at 75-75 at the end of the fourth quarter, Memphis outscored New Orleans 14-8 with Mike Conley and Marc Gasol combining for 10 points in overtime to end the game. After the Pelicans scored the first point of overtime off Pelicans guard E’Twaun Moore’s free throw, Memphis scored the next nine points, capped by a three-point shot from Gasol, to lead the rest of the game.
