MEMPHIS – Considering the rash of injuries the Grizzlies endured last season, Marc Gasol understands the heightened concern swirling around any soreness in his right ankle. “It’s one of those things when you say, ‘Don’t panic,’ and everybody just loses it,” Gasol said Monday. “But everything is great. It’s fine. We took a look at everything around the foot, and it was perfect.” Well, not quite perfect. But the Grizzlies and their franchise center insist everything will be fine after Gasol avoided an injury scare over the weekend when he left Saturday’s preseason game in Houston with soreness.
