The shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies battled hard, but their comeback attempt ultimately fell short in a 114-108 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday evening at FedExForum.
The Grizzlies (39-29) and Timberwolves (22-46) split the season series two games apiece with each squad taking a win on the road.
Minnesota shot 56.3 percent at a 40-of-71 clip on the evening, their fifth-highest percentage of the season, and hit 10 of its 21 three-point attempts (47.6 percent). Memphis knocked down 44 of their 100 shots (44.0 percent).
