Memphis Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace today announced the team has assigned guard Wade Baldwin IV and forward Jarell Martin to the Iowa Energy, the Grizzlies’ NBA Development League affiliate.
Baldwin (6-4, 202) has appeared in 21 games (10 starts) for the Energy this season and averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.50 steals in 27.1 minutes. Selected by Memphis in the first round (17th overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft following his sophomore season at Vanderbilt University, the 20-year-old Belle Mead, N.J. native has competed in 24 games (one start) with the Grizzlies and averaged 3.
