I already harped on the mistakes the Memphis Grizzlies made in 2017, so it’s only fair for me to talk about the good moves.
The team took an entirely new direction this summer, shifting away from “Grit ‘n’ Grind.” To do so, it involved some risks. They had to gamble on current free agents and young talent. They had to risk running a team without leaders in Zach Randolph, Tony Allen and Vince Carter.
Some of those paid off, and some didn’t pan out as planned.
