The Memphis Grizzlies have decided they want Miami Heat assistant coach David Fizdale to be their next head coach. The Grizzlies offered have offered the job to Fizdale, reports Adrian Wojnarowski.

Fizdale as served as Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra for the past few seasons. Fizdale is just 41 years old.
Fizdale played college ball at San Diego, and started his coaching career there as an assistant in 1998, two years after graduating. He joined the Heat in 2008, after serving as an NBA assistant since 2003.
Memphis interview several coaches for the job to replace previous head coach Dave Joerger. He was fired earlier this offseason and landed with the Kings. Fizdale beat out Spurs' assistant James Borrego for the head coaching job.
