The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the NBA's most complete and impressive teams so far during the 2014-15 season, but still appear to be on the lookout for some veteran leadership and perimeter shooting.
According to Shams Charania of RealGM, they may have found both of those attributes in free agent sharpshooter Ray Allen.
Per Charania, "Ray Allen — the most coveted NBA free agent on the market — has heard from far beyond just five teams to consider, including interest from the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources told RealGM."
If the Grizzlies are indeed interested, they will have added their names to the hat with the San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards and Golden State Warriors - five teams that have reportedly been deemed as the favorites for Allen's services.
Allen is the all-time NBA leader in three-pointers made with 2,973. He averaged 9.6 points a game in 73 contests with the Miami Heat last season.
