Maryland football lost its two Class of 2019 recruits from the Tampa Bay area Tuesday, as wide receiver Ahmarean Brown and running back Treshaun Ward reopened their recruitments.
Both players were three-star recruits; Brown was the No. 83 player in the state of Florida and the No. 81 receiver in the country, while Ward is No. 159 in the state and No. 79 nationally at his position. Brown committed to the Terps in April, while Ward pledged in early September.
This double-decommitment makes it three recruits backing out since the firing of DJ Durkin. Safety Trey Rucker announced he was reopening his recruitment last week.
