Maryland football’s new staff hasn’t developed a concrete depth chart through the first two weeks of spring practice, but perhaps no player has felt more at ease than redshirt sophomore center Brendan Moore. He transformed as a player during the difficult late-season days of last fall, when Maryland’s line was somewhat decimated by injury and by a lack of production down the stretch – and Moore eventually logged plays at center, right guard and left guard, where he made his first career start against Rutgers in the season finale.
Moore has been groomed as a center over the past two years, where he’s quietly developed behind veterans Sal Conaboy and Evan Mulrooney and watched the unit face a formidable transition to the Big Ten.
