Maryland football bounced back Saturday with a 34-7 [insert action verb that implies “lopsided win”] over Rutgers. The Terps didn’t need to do much to beat an imploding Scarlet Knights team that’s making headlines for going 2-of-17 passing with five interceptions, but Maryland did more than enough.
Interim head coach Matt Canada, quarterback Kasim Hill, running back Ty Johnson and safety Darnell Savage took the podium to discuss the win.
During the win, Ty Johnson became the fourth Maryland player to total over 4,000 career all-purpose yards, joining LaMont Jordan, Torrey Smith and Stefon Diggs.
