Hovland is in her fourth season as head coach. She recently signed a contract extension through the 2028-29 season. The Terps’ have reached back-to-back NCAA Regionals appearances in 2023 and 2024.
The Terps’ coach discussed her coaching journey — which included a job in the House of Representatives. She also discussed how she devises practice plans and prepares for winter weather throughout the season.
