Tyler DeSue commits to Maryland football: Terps land 4-star Virginia QB

For the second year in a row, Maryland football has landed a commitment from a blue-chip quarterback.

Four-star Bishop Sullivan, (Va.) dual-threat quarterback Tyler DeSue committed to Maryland Wednesday.

It's official I'm gonna be a terp so excited and blessed to have committed to the University of Maryland

The 6’1, 185-pound quarterback is the No. 8 player in Virginia and the No. 13 dual-threat quarterback in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. His commitment continues an upward trend in talent at a position mired with inconsistency and poor play over the better part of the last decade for Maryland.
