Three-star running back Treshaun Ward announced his commitment to Maryland football Thursday evening on Twitter, becoming the first prospect to join the Terps’ Class of 2019 since late July.
Ward is the first recruit to commit to Maryland since everything that’s gone on in the last month. Previously, three-star offensive tackle Parker Moorer reopened his recruitment and former three-star linebacker and incoming freshman linebacker Nihym Anderson left the program, though there’s no stated reason for his departure.
