The 2019 NFL Draft was an exciting one for Maryland football, which had four players drafted over the course of the three-day event.
Darnell Savage Jr. headlined the draft class after being selected No. 21 overall by the Green Bay Packers, making it back-to-back seasons a Terrapin was picked in the first round. Then on Day 3, a trio of Terps heard their names called, as Byron Cowart, Ty Johnson and Derwin Gray went in the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds, respectively.
However, there are still a number of Maryland alumni waiting to begin their professional careers, and many of them could sign with a team in the next few days, if not as soon as the draft culminates.
