Maryland football continued to solidify its future at quarterback Monday, with three-star Georgia native AJ Swann announcing his pledge.
Swann, who ranks as a top-30 pro-style quarterback, chose the Terps over offers from Colorado, South Florida and Virginia Tech, among others.
In 2020, Swann was named Region 5-AAAAAAA Co-offensive Player of the Year after a junior season where he completed 60.4% of his passes for 2,194 yards and 21 touchdowns with just five interceptions. Under Swann’s direction, Cherokee High School finished with an 8-3 record, including a 6-0 start to the 2020 season.
