Maryland women’s basketball players Lexie Brown, Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough have accepted invitations to the USA Basketball trails to compete for spots on teams that will participate in the Pan American Games and the World University Games over the summer.
The trials will take place May 14-17 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, where 54 players will vie for 12 roster spots. The Pan Americans Games are scheduled for July 16-20 in Toronto and the World University Games July 4-13 in Gwangju, South Korea.
Brown, a sophomore, was selected first-team all-Big Ten and third-team all-American.
