With Maryland set to host South Florida on Saturday, there’s several things to keep an eye on. Here’s our three keys to victory for the Terrapins:
- Running game needs to bounce back – From the first offensive series against Bowling Green, Maryland struggled to run the football. After a phenomenal effort against Richmond, running back Brandon Ross only managed eight carries for 10 yards against the Falcons. The team did average six yards-per-carry, but those numbers were inflated by quarterback Perry Hills’ 94 yards on the ground. The Terps need to stay committed to the running game early on.
