Maryland offensive lineman Brendan Moore to the Rimington Trophy spring watch list, awarded annually to the best center in college football.
The 6-foot-3, 295-pound Moore, who is entering his redshirt sophomore season, is the front-runner to replace graduating senior Evan Mulrooney at center. But he also proved his versatility during the second half of last season, logging plays at center, left guard and right guard to help shore up an injury-prone front.
He made seven appearances and one start last season in the regular season finale against Rutgers, helping Maryland rush for the most yards (401) in a game since 1999.
