In a CBS Sports poll of men's college basketball coaches released last week, Maryland junior point guard Melo Trimble was named the fourth-most desirable player in Division I, behind Duke's Grayson Allen, Washington's Markelle Fultz and Duke's Harry Giles.
Even after a disappointing-by-his-standards season, he was ahead of Villanova's Josh Hart. Ahead of Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes. Ahead of Oregon's Dillon Brooks. America's love affair with Trimble is back, and it's apparently spreading to the media.
On Wednesday, Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook editor Chris Dortch unveiled the publication's preseason All-Americans. Allen is among the five, of course.
