Wide receiver Sean Nelson becomes the eighth player from the 2017 class to commit to Maryland when he announced his decision on Saturday.
The three-star prospect is from Fairburn, Georgia and plays football at Langston Hughes High School. During the 2015 season, Nelson 681 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He is rated the No. 57 player in Georgia and the No. 83 receiver in the nation by 247sports. He had a total of 14 college scholarship offers. Some of those schools were Arizona, West Virginia, Louisville, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia Southern and Western Kentucky.
