The Maryland men's basketball team started three freshmen for nearly all of league play this season; the Terps finished tied for second in the Big Ten Conference anyway. The trio finished among the team's top four scorers, with one leading Maryland in rebounds and another in assists and steals.
But Justin Jackson, Anthony Cowan and Kevin Huerter were All-Freshman Team snubs Monday.
Michigan State forward Miles Bridges, the league's Freshman of the Year, headlined a group selected by Big Ten coaches that also included Iowa guard Jordan Bohannon, Penn State guard Tony Carr, Minnesota forward Amir Coffey and Iowa forward Tyler Cook.
