Week 10 of the NFL season has come and gone, and with it, three notable former Maryland football players contributed in the same game.
Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson, running back Ty Johnson and Indianapolis Colts safety Nick Cross all shared the field in the Bills’ 30-20 win over the Colts.
Jefferson, who spent a year with Buffalo in 2020, made an immediate impact after rejoining the team on Wednesday.
Down by seven points late into the third quarter, Indianapolis went for it on fourth-and-2 from Buffalo’s 20 yard line. On the play, Colts quarterback Joe Flacco dropped back only to be sacked by Jefferson for a loss of 10.
