Terps answer questions by knocking off No. 3 Iowa for signature win

For two weeks, there were questions about Maryland’s toughness and talent. Were the Terps like so many other teams in the Top 10 teams this season, a bit soft and more than a little overrated?

In a game they needed to win regardless of what coach Mark Turgeon said beforehand, the No. 8 Terps responded Thursday with their biggest win of the season and one of the biggest in Turgeon’s five seasons.
