Team USA comes back to win bronze medal, beats the Dominican Republic 87-82

In another ugly showing, somehow the Americans were able to scrape out a late-game comeback to bring a medal back to the States.

In an 87-82 comeback victory, Team USA took home the bronze medal in Toronto.

Veteran Damien Wilkins and the American's scoring leader Bobby Brown led the late charge, combining for 37 points. The Dominicans lead for the first three quarters of the game, and by as many as 20, before Team USA got its offense going in the fourth.

This is Team USA's second consecutive bronze finish at the Pan-American games.

For Maryland's Melo Trimble, it was more of the same, as he struggled holding on to the ball again.
