No. 7 Maryland women’s basketball improved to 9-0 on Tuesday night with an 87-52 win over Mount St. Mary’s.
The Terps took care of business, but left more to be desired in their final contest before Big Ten play.
Here are three takeaways from Tuesday’s game.
Second-quarter success
After only leading by seven points at the end of the first quarter, Maryland needed to halt its disappointing start before the final 10 minutes of the first half.
“I think the emphasis these last couple games has been starting with a lot of energy,” Allie Kubek said.
