The Maryland men's basketball team returned home to College Park after Saturday’s dramatic win at Wisconsin on Saturday rather than fly here. The Terps seemed to leave their legs at Xfinity Center, particularly sophomore point guard Melo Trimble.
Midway through the second half Tuesday at Crisler Center, trailing Michigan by 13 points, the No. 3 Terps found their legs. Unfortunately, Maryland never found the many 3-point shooters of the Wolverines, who hung on to beat the Terps, 70-67.
A long 3-pointer by senior guard Rasheed Sulaimon, who had made two late 3s to help Maryland’s comeback, missed from the right wing.
