Maryland women's lacrosse had six players named to the All-Big Ten team earlier today. The Terps that made the All-Conference squad are all studs, and the Big Ten coaches got it right in selecting them all unanimously. Only three other Big Ten players were selected unanimously. That says a lot about how dominant the Terrapins were this season.
Maryland's unanimous selections were: attacker Megan Whittle, midfielders Taylor Cummings and Zoe Stukenberg, defenders Nadine Hadnagy and Alice Mercer and goalie Megan Taylor.
Whittle, Cummings, Stukenberg, Hadnagy and Mercer have also been named Tewaaraton Award nominees. The five nominees are the most of any school in the country.
