Maryland basketball’s bench will have a different look next season, with assistant coach Dustin Clark leaving the program and Matt Brady moving up in his place. Maryland announced the changes Monday afternoon, along with naming Mark Bialkoski as director of basketball operations.
Clark had been with Maryland for seven seasons after moving with Coach Mark Turgeon from Texas A&M. He is leaving coaching altogether to move back to his native Texas to be closer to his family and join a family business.
In his time at Maryland, Clark established himself as a reliable recruiter who took the lead on getting Duke graduate transfer Rasheed Sulaimon, junior guard Anthony Cowan Jr.
