Maryland officially released its men’s basketball nonconference schedule Tuesday, a slate packed with matchups against traditional powers for a Terrapins team that is expected to be a national contender.
Much of the Terrapins’ schedule has already been unveiled, including November’s highly anticipated meeting with Georgetown as part of the inaugural Gavitt Games. It will be the first time in 22 years that the teams will have met in the Washington area, although it is far from the only high-profile matchup Maryland has on its nonconference schedule.
