Andy Buh won’t be a part of Mike Locksley’s regime, but he’ll remain a Big Ten defensive coordinator. After three years at Maryland, he’ll accept the same post on Chris Ash’s staff at Rutgers, according to multiple reports.
The hire has not been officially announced by either Ash or the school. Buh becomes the third Maryland staffer to accept a post elsewhere, joining Jimmy Brumbaugh and Aazaar Abdul-Rahim.
Buh and Ash overlapped once prior, while both were on the defensive staff at Wisconsin in 2012. This is now Buh’s fourth defensive coordinator job, and he brings 10 years of experience in the position with him.
