Virginia Tech running back Trey Edmunds will transfer to Maryland for his final season of eligibility, according to report by The News & Advance on Wednesday night.
Edmunds has spent the past four seasons at Virginia Tech and has 957 career rushing yards to go with 13 touchdowns in an injury-plagued career. As a redshirt freshman in 2013, Edmunds rushed for 675 yards and 10 touchdowns.
According to The News & Advance, Edmunds graduated from Virginia Tech last month with a degree in multimedia journalism.
In the final game of the 2013 season, Edmunds broke his left tibia.
