After picking up his third win in seven days with a 72-61 win over Purdue on Saturday, Mark Turgeon wasn’t afraid to admit that a mid-season fatigue has set in.
“We are a tired basketball team,” Turgeon admitted in his victory speech, reliving the past week that opened with long trips to Ohio and Nebraska and closed with a matchup against the most physically imposing team in the Big Ten.
Turgeon again credited a sold-out crowd at the Xfinity Center – the 11th of the season – as a primary force behind the team’s 15 consecutive league win at home.
