Welcome back to ouTTakes! Let’s talk about golf.
This summer, Maryland senior Ludovica Farina qualified for the Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s in England. That’s a particularly impressive feat for a college golfer who had to knock off touring professionals to make the field. Farina missed the cut (she shot 73-84 in her two rounds) but enters this college season as confident as ever.
I caught up with Farina a couple weeks ago. Here’s our conversation and more in the latest episode of ouTTakes.
If you’re unfamiliar with what this show is, it’s a new podcast we launched in May with the goal of showing Maryland sports figures in a new light and allowing listeners to view them (and us, the student reporters) as people.
