With Randy Edsall‘s job in jeopardy, Maryland could’ve laid down.
However, the Terrapins put up a valiant effort in a 49-28 loss against Ohio State on Saturday.
Quarterback Perry Hills drew the start after the combination of Caleb Rowe and Daxx Garman were very uninspiring against Michigan last week. Hills kept the Terps in the game as he rushed for a career high 153 yards and two touchdowns against the Buckeyes.
Hills wasn’t nearly as effective through the air. The Pennsylvania native only completed 8-of-23 passes for 104 yards to go along with a touchdown and two interceptions.
