Ohio State announced the hiring of former Maryland offensive line coach Greg Studrawa, who was not retained by new Terps coach DJ Durkin, to the same position Friday morning.
Studrawa spent the past two seasons with the Terps and was in charge of a unit that showed improvement in its second season in the Big Ten Conference. The Maryland offensive line didn't allow a sack through the first three games of the season. Down the stretch, it paved the way for running back Brandon Ross' 250-yard performance against Indiana and the team's 401-yard rushing performance in the season finale against Rutgers.
