The Terps cracked the top-25 for the first time this season, but they couldn't overcome their mistakes on the road at No. 23 Minnesota on Saturday.
Maryland had some positive moments, but they never put pressure on the Golden Gophers. Minnesota never trailed for the duration of the meet.
Here are three things that we learned from the Maryland-Minnesota meet:
1) Abbie Epperson has a chance to be a star this season
Epperson took second in the All-Around competition and was perhaps the brightest moment of the meet for Maryland. Head coach Brett Nelligan has to like what he has seen so far this season from his super sophomore.
