With seven and half minutes remaining in the game, No. 21 Maryland men’s basketball already held a commanding 67-32 lead over the Fayetteville State Broncos.
Looking to extend the Terps’ lead, graduate guard Fatts Russell dribbled the ball down the court and as he approached the arc, dished the ball out to his right where junior guard Hakim Hart grabbed it and put it up for an easy layup in the paint.
The Terps continued to coast, eventually collecting the victory in their exhibition matchup, 89-40.
After winning the tip, Maryland was unable to get anything going early as it turned over the ball.
