It was a great weekend for No. 15 Maryland baseball, sweeping Michigan in the Terps last home series of the season to crack the 40-win mark and move into a tie for first place in the Big Ten. Now, in its last midweek game of the season, Maryland will host James Madison on Tuesday.
The first game in the Michigan series was an unexpected nail biter as Michigan tied the game with a six-run seventh inning. But junior outfielder Troy Schreffler Jr. stole home on a wild pitch in the eighth inning, clinching an 8-7 Maryland win on Friday.
