Maryland faced a very Hawaii team in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
Despite only holding a 28-27 lead at halftime, the Terrapins were able to pull away in the second half and defeat the Rainbow Warriors 73-60. Maryland used an electrifying 14-0 run midway through the second half to propel themselves into the Sweet 16.
This will be the eighth time in the last 22 years that the Terps have made it out of the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
Maryland received a very balanced offensive performance as four of their five starters finished in double figures.
