Melo Trimble spent three seasons in a Maryland Terrapins uniform, and now he’s got a new one to put on.
Trimble wasn’t picked in Thursday night’s NBA Draft, but he’s been signed by the Philadelphia 76ers, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes.
Ever since declaring for the draft in March, Trimble has faced questions about his game, which was picked apart thoroughly as his college career progressed. While he’ll never be the most athletic player on an NBA floor, there are plenty of ways he can help a team at the highest level.
However, after being a star in college, Trimble now faces an uphill battle to even get his foot in the NBA door.
