Offensive tackle Terek Zingale signed his Letter of Intent to play college football for Maryland on Wednesday, setting in stone his May verbal commitment and giving the Terps another option on the offensive line.
Zingale hails from Nordonia, Ohio, and rates as a three-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite. He stands 6'6 and weights 300 pounds, making him a fairly massive high school senior.
He's one of two Maryland tackle commits, along with Sykesville's Brian Plummer. The Terps had two other line commits, Alex Hall and Michael Clark, but both decommited after DJ Durkin replaced Randy Edsall as head coach.
