In case you missed it, Maryland football absolutely eviscerated Howard to the tune of a 79-0 final score on Saturday afternoon. And on Monday, the Terps awarded seven players for their contributions to the victory.
Leading the charge on offense were quarterback Josh Jackson and wide receiver Dontay Demus Jr., both of whom were named Offensive Players of the Week. In his Maryland debut, the former Hokie shined in less than a half of action, completing 15 of 24 passes for 245 passing yards and four touchdowns. One of those scores went to Demus, who started his sophomore campaign with a bang, hauling in three passes for 100 yards and finding the endzone twice.
