The 2020 WNBA Semifinals continued for several former Terps Sunday afternoon.
Maryland alumnus Crystal Langhorne was a healthy scratch for the third consecutive contest, but the 33-year-old is on her way toward winning her second professional WNBA title with the Seattle Storm. The Storm officially advanced to its fourth WNBA Finals after completing a sweep of the Minnesota Lynx, 92-71. Breonna Stewart led the way with a playoff career-high 31 points, which also tied a franchise playoff record, while Sue Bird added 16 points and nine assists
The Connecticut Sun, complete with its trio of Terps, fell to the Las Vegas Aces 84-75 in Game 4 of their series, as Angel McCoughtry’s 29 points were enough to force the series-deciding Game 5.
