Maryland women’s tennis kicked off its fall season as they participated at the Columbia Invitational and four Maryland players made it to the finals.
Senior Vera Markovic and Miami transfer Selma Cadar qualified for the finals while University of Delaware transfer Jojo Bach and freshman Francesca Feodorov both left New York with titles.
Feodorov was the first Terp of the weekend to win a singles title. She started the weekend with a 7-6, 6-1 win over Camil Ordonez from St. John’s and then defeated Columbia’s Carolyn Brodsky 6-3, 6-7, 10-1 to secure a spot in the finals.
